Eligibility

1) The participants must be a Canadian Punjabi resident regardless of religion and place of birth.

2) The participants should be between 7 to 15 years of age.

3) Preference will be given to participants who have held outstanding recognition in dance, cultural events or in any talent show.

4) Participants should speak and understand Punjabi language, however preference will be given to those with Punjabi writing skills.

ਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ

1)ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮੂਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਣੇ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹਨ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਧਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਤ ਹੋਣ, ਜਾਂ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕੋਨੇ ਵਿਚ ਜਨਮੇ ਹੋਣ |

2) ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ 7 ਤੋਂ 15 ਸਾਲ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਹੋਣੀ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ|

3) ਗਿੱਧਾ, ਲੋਕ-ਨਾਚ, ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਉਚ ਪੁਜੀਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਥਮਿਕਤਾ/ ਉਮਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਆਇਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ |

4) ਬਿਨੈਕਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਮਝਣੀ ਤੇ ਬੋਲਣੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੈ ਪ੍ੰਤੂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲਿਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਲੋ ਵੱਧ ਨੰਬਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।

Children aged 7-10 years & 11-15 years will participate in a dancing, singing, acting and quiz round competition. In the auditions they will have 4 minutes to perform and will have to secure at least 50% support of the jury members to proceed to the final competition.

ਚੋਣ ਫਾਰਮੈਟ

7 ਤੋਂ 10 ਸਾਲ 11 ਤੋਂ 15 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਇਕ ਨਾਚ, ਗਾਉਣ ,ਐਕਿਟੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣਗੇ, ਪਿਹਲਾ ਆਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਂਉਡ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ । ਪ੍ਤੀਯੋਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ 4 ਮਿੰਟ ਮਿਲਣਗੇ , ਜਿਸ ਦਰਿਮਆਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਿਚ ਜੱਜ ਸਾਿਹਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਕੋਲੋਂ 50% ਅੰਕ ਲੈਣੇ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕੇ |

CANADIAN PUNJABI CHAMPS

INSTRUCTIONS

1) The competition “NIKKI MUTIYAAR” & “NIKKA GABHRU” by Virasat PEACE Organization will be for Girls & Boys of age 7 to 10 years & 11 to15 years respectively.

2) All Participants can register on website www.pvtv.ca and bring along a hard copy of completed form including all documents on the day of Auditions.

3) There will be a $25 fee for participating in this competition to be submitted with form

4) Participants must bring along copy of documents verifying their DOB and residence proof with entry form.

5) The entry form should have signatures of both parents as a proof of their consent.

6) The participants must not be an employee or a relative of any existing member of organization and / or should not be associated with any member of the Jury.

7) A recent passport size photograph must be affixed on the entry form.

8) The selection panel reserves the right to reject incomplete entry form in its sole discretion without assigning any reason.

9) All selected contestants for the final competition should make themselves available for final rehearsals & photo sessions as and when required.

10) The attire (dress) and ornaments worn by the contestant would be of their own.

11) Virasat Peace Org. reserves the right to change rules and regulations, venue dates etc. for preliminary / final competition without any notice.

12) Participants must declare if they have any kind of Allergy / Health issues.

13) Decision of the Jury will be final, binding and non-challengeable by the participants.

14) Participants who does not abide by the instructions, rules and regulations of the competition is liable to be disqualified any time by the panel without any notice.

15) Virasat Peace Org. in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify, withhold or revoke its title/award from any winner, who fails to abide by the set rules and regulations of the event.

16) The names/titles "Canadian Punjabi Champs", "Nikki Mutiyaar" and "Nikka Gabhru" have been registered and copyrighted.

17) Virasat Peace Org. is a 'Not for Profit organization and its objective is to promote Punjabi culture, heritage and Punjabi rich traditions to our upcoming generations. A part of the proceeds from this event will be donated to different charity organizations.

1) ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਈਲੀਟ ਆਰਟ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਚਰਲ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ (ਪੀਸ) ਆਰਗੇਨਾਈਜੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ "ਨਿੱਕੀ ਮੁਟਿਆਰ" ਤੇ " ਨਿੱਕਾ ਗੱਭਰੂ" ਦੋਹਾਂ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਭਾਵ ਲੜਿਕਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਉਮਰ ਸੀਮਾਂ 7 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ 10 ਸਾਲ ਅਤੇ 11 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ 15 ਸਾਲ ਨੀਯਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।

2) ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗੀ ਵੈਬਸਾਈਟ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਰਜਿਸਟਰ ਕਰਵਾ ਸਕਦੀ/ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ , ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਐਂਟਰੀ ਫਾਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਇਕ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਾਪੀ ਆਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਕੇ ਆਉਣੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

3) ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ $25 ਦਾਖਲਾ ਫੀਸ ਨੀਯਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ,ਜੋ ਫਾਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਜਮਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ

4) ਜਨਮ ਮਿਤੀ / ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਸਬੂਤਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਯੱੋਗ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਪੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਨੱਥੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ |

5) ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਤੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਹੋਣੇ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹਨ।

6) ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਤੇ / ਜਾਂ ਜਿਅੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਦਾ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ |

7) ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥੀ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਸਾਈਜ਼ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਫਾਰਮ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਥਾਂ ਲਾਈ ਜਾਵੇ|

8) ਚੋਣ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਅਧੂਰੇ ਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਦਸਤਾਵੇਜਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਫਾਰਮ ਉਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ,ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੱਸੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਫਾਰਮ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ|

9) ਸਾਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਫਾਈਨਲ ਰਿਹਰਸਲ ਅਤੇ ਫੋਟੋਸ਼ੈਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਟਾਈਮ ਦੇਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਅਤੀ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

10) ਪਿਹਰਾਵਾ ਤੇ ਗਿਹਣੇ ਪ੍ਤਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ|

11)ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਪੀਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਕੋਲ ਨਿੱਯਮ, ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ, ਮਿਤੀ ਤੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਆਦਿ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਦਲਣ / ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਰਾਖਵਾਂ ਹੈ ।

12) ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗੀ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਐਲਰਜੀ ਜਾਂ ਰੋਗ (ਜੇਕਰ ਹੈ) ਜੋ ਉਸਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਠੀਕ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਣ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਫਾਰਮ ਵਿਚ ਭਰਣੀ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ

13) ਨਿਰਣਾਇਕ ਮੰਡਲ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਣਾ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਬ-ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਿਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੈਲੇਂਜ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।

14)ਸ਼ਰਤਾਂ, ਨਿੱਯਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਸਿਫਾਰਸ਼ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥੀ / ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ|

15) ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਪਰੀਤ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ/ਵਾਲੇ ਜਾਂ ਇਸ ਵਲੋਂ ਮਿਲੇ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਤੇ ਵਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪੁਹੰਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ/ਵਾਲੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵੀ ਖਿਤਾਬ ਤੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਏ ਜਾਂ ਰੋਕੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ |

16) ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ / ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾ "ਨਿੱਕੀ ਮੁਟਿਆਰ", "ਨਿੱਕਾ ਗੱਭਰੂ" "ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਚੈਂਪਸ" ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੇ ਲੋਗੋ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਡ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਪੀਰਾਈਟ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਪੀਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਖਵੇਂ ਹਨ |

17) ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਪੀਸ ਆਰਗੇਨਾਈਜੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨਾ-ਮੁਨਾਫੇਵਾਲੀ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਅਜੋਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੂੰਗਰ ਰਹੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਬੋਲੀ, ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਰੀਤੀ ਰਿਵਾਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਫੁਲਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਤੀਯੋਗਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਹੋਈ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੁੱਝ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ/ਚੈਰਿਟੀ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਵਝੋਂ ਵੀ ਦੱਤੀ ਜਵੇਗੀ।|

DECLARATION

I hereby, declare that I am a Punjabi Canadian and I have no objection for the release of my photographs / videos for media use. If selected for the grand finale, I will fulfil all formalities as per the requirements of the organization. I have read all the rules and regulations of this pageant competition carefully and undertake to abide by the same. Also if I become winner, I hereby confirm that I will make myself available to take part in all future activities of the organization on voluntarily basis and will serve as an ambassador of this organization. I will take part in outside cultural activities of the other organizations only with the prior and written consent of the organization till the next pageant competition.
